Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These are the simple rules for using Money Basket. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of the Money Basket app (“the app”) made by RC IT Services (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2. What the app does

Money Basket helps you record money you receive and spend, set budgets, save into savings pots and back up your records. The app is provided free of charge for personal use.

3. Not financial advice

The app is a record-keeping tool. Budgets, totals, savings pots, levels and messages in the app are for your information and motivation only. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

4. Your data and backups

5. Google services

Features that use Google (daily Google Drive backup, voice entry and Android backup) are optional. When you use them, Google’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. You can stop the app’s access to your Google Drive at any time, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it for anything unlawful. The name Money Basket, its logo and its design belong to RC IT Services.

7. Updates and availability

We may update the app to add, change or remove features. We aim to keep it working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

8. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We don’t guarantee that the app’s calculations, reminders or backups will be accurate, complete or uninterrupted, so please check important figures yourself.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, RC IT Services is not liable for any loss of data, money or profits, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

10. Stopping use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. You can remove its access to Google Drive at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
